se brothers and sisters who are suffering. I’m so happy that I didn’t sneeze.
而他们告诉我——现在，没有什么关系了现在，真的，不管现在发生什么都没有关系了。今天早上，我离开亚特兰大，当我们登上飞机时，我们有6个人，飞行员通过扩音装置说道：“我们真的很抱歉耽误了大家的时间，但是我们现在有马丁?路德?金博士在飞机上，为了确保所有的袋子、包都检查到，为了确保飞机上不会出现任何差错，我们得仔细检查所有的东西。我们昨晚整晚都在保护防卫这架飞机。”然后，我来到了孟菲斯。而有一些人就开始谈论存在的威胁，或谈论外在的威胁。我们的病态的白人兄弟会对我采取什么样的报复呢？
And they were telling me, now it doesn’t matter now. It really doesn’t matter what happens now. I left Atlanta this morning, and as we got started on the plane, there were six of us, the pilot said over the public address system, “We are sorry for the delay, but we have Dr. Martin Luther King on the plane. And to be sure that all of the bags were checked, and to be sure that nothing would be wrong with on the plane, we had to check out everything carefully. And we’ve had the plane protected and guarded all night.” And then I got into Memphis. And some began to say the threats, or talk about the threats that were out. What would happen to me from some of our sick white brothers?
呃，我不知道现在会发生什么事。我们前面还有一段艰难的路要走。但是对我来说，真的已经没有什么关系了。因为我已登上了人生的山巅，我不介意别的事情了。像你们每个人一样，我也想活得长久一点，长寿当然有它吸引人的地方。但是对此我已不再介意了。我只想完成上帝给予我的意愿。是他让我登上了人生的山巅，我已经四处都检视过了，我已看到了上帝允诺我们的福地。可能我不能同你们一道到达那里，但是今晚我要你们知道，作为一个民族我们一定会抵达上帝所允诺的福地！所以今晚我很开心，我已经无所畏惧了，我也不怕任何人的迫害！因为我的双眼已清楚看到了来自上帝的荣耀。
Well, I don’t know what will happen now. We’ve got some difficult days ahead. But it doesn’t matter with me now. Because I’ve been to the mountaintop. And I don’t mind.Like anybody, I would like to live a long life. Longevity has its place. But I’m not concerned about that now. I just want to do God’s will. And He’s allowed me to go up to the mountain. And I’ve looked over. And I’ve seen the promised land. I may not get there with you. But I want you to know tonight, that we, as a people, will get will get to the promised land!And so I’m happy, tonight. I’m not worried about anything. I’m not fearing any man! Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord!!

Well, I don’t know what will happen now. We’ve got some difficult days ahead. But it doesn’t matter with me now. Because I’ve been to the mountaintop. And I don’t mind.Like anybody, I would like to live a long life. Longevity has its place. But I’m not concerned about that now. I just want to do God’s will. And He’s allowed me to go up to the mountain. And I’ve looked over. And I’ve seen the promised land. I may not get there with you. But I want you to know tonight, that we, as a people, will get will get to the promised land!And so I’m happy, tonight. I’m not worried about anything. I’m not fearing any man! Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord!!
